Q: Why is the MAXIMUS thermometer not fixed with a screw, glue or anything else?
We stopped fixing them, because at the time when we were doing it with kind of springs, we had a lot of problems due to the dilation of the front of the MAXIMUS, which caused a lot of breakdowns on the thermometers.
Plus, when it rains or during the winter, the new one is much easier to remove and keep dry.
Following all these problems, we stopped putting these springs, and it will continue like this.
99% of users have no problem with their thermometers (none to fall so far between more than 15,000 units sold).
However, if you want us to send you a spring for fixing it, all you need is a simple request to the after-sales service, we do it at our expense, but if you order one, your thermometer will lose its warranty of 2 years.
